Welcome to the Enrich Living online community!
Our Community Events and Online Community Connections program is a place where our clients can get together, make connections, learn new skills, and find enjoyment in activities and events.
Social interaction is an important component to healthy living at any age. Our activities are designed to help you connect with others while improving your physical and cognitive abilities in a fun and relaxed environment.
What do I need to join an event?
Our events cater to Enrich Living Home Care Package and Commonwealth Home Support Programme clients. We welcome you to join any event.
If you are a client accessing the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) and would like to attend an activity, you will require a Social Support referral code from My Aged Care. If you do not have this code or are not sure if you have one, don’t worry – our team can help you organise one.

Arts and crafts activities can be a very rewarding way for elderly people to spend their time, as they can provide an opportunity to socialise, make friends, and learn new skills. These activities are not only fun and stimulating, but also have the potential to help improve both physical and mental wellbeing. Whether it’s painting your own masterpiece or knitting a scarf for a loved one, these activities can be extremely beneficial for elderly people who may be feeling isolated or alone.

Socialising and making friends can become more difficult as we age. However, engaging in social activities like games and sport activities can be a great way to both learn and make new friends. Whether it’s something familiar like bowls, board games and bingo, or something completely new, there are a variety of activities to be a part of to build meaningful relationships with your peers.

Not only does it provide a sense of purpose, but it also allows for meaningful interactions and socialising. When we involve the elderly in such activities, we not only provide an opportunity to stay active and involved, but it also show them that their dignity is respected.

Are you looking for some activities to do with likeminded ladies or gents? Look no further! Our Ladies’ or Blokes’ activities are the perfect way to catch up and make new friends while having a good time. Engaging in these activities offers you a chance to come together, share stories, and reminisce on shared experiences. As well as providing an opportunity for comradery and a good chitchat, these activities can be beneficial for your physical and mental health.

Museum trips offer you an incredible opportunity to explore, reminisce and relate. You can explore historical artefacts that reflect your own history and heritage, allowing you to relive some of your fondest memories. At the same time, it also helps create new memories with a different perspective of the world. As you make your way through museums, you can take time to reflect on past experiences and discover new ways of connecting with others.

As we grow older, it is important to keep our minds and bodies active and entertained. Our Respite Day Centre activities can be a great way to do this. These activities can range from creative pursuits such as painting and music, to more social activities like board games and light exercises. Not only do these activities provide fun, they also offer the chance to interact with others while learning something new.

Online Community Connections
Want to connect with your community from the comfort of your own home? We run activities and programs that allow you to do just that. Our online community connections programs allow you to learn, chat and enjoy life with other members of our community. Click on the activity you are interested in to learn more about getting involved.
What do I need to join the Online Community Connections program?
- Desktop computer, laptop or tablet/iPad.
- A valid email address.
- Microsoft Teams.
All of our programs are run on Microsoft Teams. Below are some instructional videos on how to join a meeting in Microsoft Teams:
- Desktop computer or laptop: Joining Teams Meeting from Email Invitation.
- Tablet or iPad: Joining Teams meetings as a guest from your table.

Interested in learning how to navigate the online world? Join our weekly online IT classes to help develop your digital skills. Improving your digital skills will help you to develop independence by building your confidence and developing social connections.
What can I learn?
Using email, searching the internet, staying safe online, how to use messenger to call family, reading books online or listening to audiobooks, navigating Mygov, online shopping and more.
Course Five runs from Tuesday 1 August to Tuesday 5 September for 6 weeks. Topics confirmed for the course are:
- Managing email
- Navigating My Aged Care and MyGov sites
- Using a smartphone
- Video chat – what is the best tool for me?
- Keeping your data safe
- Staying organised with Notes
When can I attend?
This program is held every Tuesday during below times:
- 11:00am – 12:00pm, WA time
- 1:00pm – 2:00pm, QLD & NSW time

Keeping the brain active aids memory improvement, concentration and problem-solving skills. Join our online brain games program designed to keep your brain active with activities such as trivia and bingo.

Join our online book club and create friendships and socialise from the comfort of your own home. Each month we read a book and at the beginning of each month, we come together online to discuss last month’s book.
What books will we read?
In March, we read The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman.

Are you keen to try some exercise classes, all from the comfort of your own home?
Our expert Exercise Physiologist, Jaimee is hosting free online exercise classes, allowing you to keep healthy and fit without having to leave your home.
Before you can get started, you will be assessed by our physiologist to ensure this type of class suits you. Our physiologists will also check if you have the Exercise Physiologist referral code from My Aged Care through the Commonwealth Home Support Package (CHSP).
When can I attend?
Exercise classes are held every Friday during below times:
- 9:30am – 10:30pm, WA time
- 11:30am – 12:30pm, QLD & NSW time

Sign Up For The Exercise Classes
Following the success of our May introductory course, it has been decided that the armchair yoga course will be extended into June and July 2023. What is chair yoga? It is a gentle form of yoga that is done while sitting on a chair. This program will help improve your strength, flexibility and confidence while reducing stress, therefore boosting your overall wellbeing for the better!
When can I attend?
- 10:00am – 11:00am, QLD & NSW time.
- 8:00am – 9:00am, WA time.
